I just got out of my Wednesday morning men's Bible study group with a group of guys that I care about quite a bit. We are digging into the book of John. Today, we looked at the passage where Judas betrays Jesus. I can't imagine what it must have been like to know that one of the people closest to you was about to betray you. Yet, somehow, when it happened, Jesus began to talk about how God would be glorified. The way that Jesus modeled obedience, even in the face of betrayal and its consequences, inspires me to be more obedient in my daily journey. Today, I hope to take up the cross and follow Jesus wherever he leads me.
